Hopefully someone here has used this product and can help me out :) I recently purchased Nutra-Nails 5 to 7 Day Growth Calcium treatment. I read the reviews on MUA and they are wonderful. But I have a question, it says on the back that it can be worn with polish. It needs to be applied twice a day, I don't see how it still works over polish? Or do I need to re-paint my nails every time I use it? I'm kind of confused. When I bought it I assumed it was just like a basecoat but it's not, so now i'm kinda unsure as of what to do.

deciding solely on the global mess made, which do you think is more environmentally friendly:
a pair of leather shoes or an exact replica with vegetarian leather?

the way i see it, the leather would be more environmentally friendly simply because whether or not i choose to, there are going to be people eating cows & waste not want not.. but if i were to choose vegetarian leather, we're going to have to create that from new raw materials..

what do you think? anyone know how to make rope sandals?

I change my hair color about as often as I change the channel on my TV. My 24th birthday is coming up next month, and since I'll be due for a dye job and cut, I figured I'd consult with all you ladies about what color and cut might look best.

I'm just gonna post a slew of photos from the past year and a half featuring all sorts of different looks that I've sported. Also, for your 411, I have unlimited mystic tanning each month, so sometimes I go pale, sometimes I rock a tan. I get bored with one look :)

Ith has been an amazing crossover writer in the Highlander fandom for years and I take full responsibility for turning her into an Ezra fangirl and my prize was lots of Mag7 crossover fic. This particular story was her first foray into the Mag7 fandom and it's still one of my favorites.

Ezra is an Immortal who has become a famous photographer in the present day and he's a good friend of Tony Stark (Iron Man). The Tony and Ezra voices are spot and their banter is just hilarious.

So I've been on Alesse for about 6-7 months. In the beginning, I was pretty irritable for the first week or so but that's about it. Alesse has been great for me for the past half year except for the last month I would often forget to take the pill and have to take it the next day. So on October 23rd I switched to Nuvaring, which is probably the biggest mistake of my life. I went off of Nuvaring on November 1st because I began to feel depressed and such. I've been off of Nuvaring for 2 weeks and every single day I'm either extremely sad, or I feel horrible anxiety, and I've cried every single day since. Before I even began birth control, I was kind of emotional; I've always been an emotional person but I've never cried like this.

I've had a boyfriend for the past 2 years and few months. He's the most amazing person I've ever met and I honestly can't imagine my life without him. We're completely in love but since I went off of birth control, I've been feeling confused about our relationship. One minute I'm happy and I know I want to be with him, and the next I'm crying and upset and I don't understand this feeling. Before the Nuvaring, I knew what I wanted, and now I'm so lost. He's SO amazing through all of this; he comforts me any time I need him and tries to understand this but I can't keep putting him through all of this.

I know I love him, and he loves me but I don't know why I'm feeling this way. I know it's the hormones (which is kind of what my doctor said). Apparently Nuvaring has a higher dose of estrogen or something and Alesse is a lower dose. My doctor put me back on Alesse (I've been on it for the past 2 days). Last night, I was really happy all night long (from about 7pm-4am). But this morning and all day, I've just been feeling the usual sadness. I can't take anymore of this. I haven't been to school in 3 weeks (university, not high school). I'm forgetting what happiness feels like. When the sadness takes over, I can't think straight. I feel like no one knows what I'm going through. I feel like I'm going crazy.

Can anyone give me advice please, before I go crazy.

1. I was treated so poorly at my local dealership's service area, I want to write a letter to the head of the company and one to the head of the dealership and let them know just how angry and disappointed I am. I doubt this will elicit any response from either, but should I ask for my money back since A) they did not diagnose my problem correctly (which is what I paid for and why I took it there instead of to my trusted mechanic who is handling it now) and B) they were so unprofessional?

1a. If they don't give me anything in return for my angry letters, can I dispute the charges with my credit card company since I didn't really receive the services I paid for? I am absolutely livid and feel I was unfairly charged but don't know the details of how it works for something intangible like service...

2. I have a travel mug from Starbucks I use 5x a week for my instant breakfast drink. It has a weird twist top mechanism that does not come apart. What is the best way to clean the lid? I have googled and found nothing and it's frustrating (and gross). What I'm doing now is boiling some soapy water in a cup in the microwave and then soaking it to get the milk-gunk out as best I can. Halp?

Okay -- I have the worse budgeting abilities in the world. The only time I was even mildly okay at it was 3 yrs ago, when I used MS Money to track my spending every week. It really helped me because I set it to a 3 yr charting thing, where it showed how my shitting habits NOW would fuck me hard in the long run, and then kept showing me that every week, until I gradually began improving.

I was hoping to get another copy of MS Money but of course they no longer make it.

What software do you use to manage your finances?

I have to say, I have been very concerned about finding music that we like (punk and metal) that won't kill the relatives to listen to it. At the same time, I don't want to die from boredom at my own wedding listening to the same old, played out songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's because thats what the moldy-oldies want to listen to. We've been making a playlist and compromising mostly on the side of the moldy-oldies because we really do want people to have a good time....

I used my Garmin 305 today for the first time on a 4.6 mile run around a local lake.

My husband and I both got them, and today we ran together for the run.

His took a while to find sattelite, which I know is normal, but mine COULDNT FIND IT. It finally asked me if I was indoors or had moved more than a few hundred miles away. I tried to answer "yes" to the last question in case that somehow helped, but I had to turn it off and back on. It eventually found sattelite.

Then we ran. There was some tree cover, but nothing crazy I wouldn't think since it says it can handle "dense tree cover". At the end of the run, we both looked down - his was fine, mine had lost sattelite at 4.17 miles. Also, at no point when I looked down did it say anything other than - - : - - for pace.

Do you think I got a "dud" or is this somewhat normal?

I am running my first "race" on Thanksgiving--a 5 mile Turkey Trot that I was talked into by a friend. I have never really been much of a runner and am neither fast nor good at long distances. I have only recently been able to run 3-3.5 miles, and just today ran my longest yet: 4.4mi.

But it took me 53 minutes. So now I feel good about finishing--I know I can do it, even if it will be tough--but what if I am so slow that I come in dead last and embarrass myself and my friend? Someone has to be last, right?

Am I being nuts?

I'm looking for a recipe for coconut cake that only uses coconut milk, not flaked coconut. I want to make a soft white cake that is just scented with coconut. I plan to top with whipped cream with just a hint of orange flower water, and toasted almond slivers. Any recipes would be much appreciated, or if any improvisational bakers have advice about substituting coconut milk in cake recipes, that would be great too!

I went camping last weekend and me and my Pathfinders got the chance to make peach cobbler in a dutch oven over the fire, and we had an amazing time and it was absolutely delicious. Now I want to get one myself both for indoor and outdoor use, but I have no idea where to start in buying one! Does anyone here have one? Do you have any recommendation on the best brand and style to get?

I have a love-hate relationship with rain boots. I think they're cute but tacky because they're usually patterned and bright and don't always go with everything. But due to the terrible tropical storms we had all week last week in lovely North Carolina, and after walking all over campus to class in Uggs and Sperrys and having them be soaking wet by the time I got back, I have decided I'm going to invest in a pair.

I was looking at rain boots on Target. They have some cute ones but like I said, I'm hesitant to buy them because they're patterned shoes and I don't know if I should just go with a solid or what...I honestly just don't know what's "cute" in rainboots.

So if you lovely ladies would, please take a quick look at the rain boot selection in the link I posted and tell me which ones YA'LL would get.
And what do ya'll think of rainboots? Tacky or cute?
Also, feel free to suggest any other stores where cute rain boots are sold. I can't seem to find many.

1. I'm looking to buy a foundation primer, preferably one that isn't tinted. Any suggestions? I hear Smashbox makes a good one, but I'd like to look at other brands as well.

2. I really want to wear lipstick, but every time I do they always smudge and bleed (every brand I've tried, from cheapie drugstore ones to MAC). I'd like to avoid resorting to lip liner to rectify this, so what are your thoughts on lip primer?

Hey guys! I am an active member of PostCrossing and have no problem finding individual postcards that are environment-friendly but I was wondering if anyone knew of any bulk postcards that I could order that are made out of recycled materials. I feel that this would be a lot easier and cheaper but do not want to be just any old batch of postcards.
